June 2023. TEKIA has been awarded various projects to improve energy efficiency in tunnels (43) and roads (32) of the State Highway Network in Galicia, Asturias, Castilla y León and La Rioja managed by MITMA. Also in tunnels (3) of the Rondas de Barcelona managed by the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.

In line with the community objective of energy savings of at least 32.5% for the year 2030 in accordance with Directive 2018/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 11, 2018, more and more administrations are aware of the importance of energy efficiency in the infrastructures they manage, especially tunnels and roads, which register high levels of energy consumption that can be optimised. TEKIA, which is deeply aligned with the sustainability policies and actions of its clients, has been awarded the energy efficiency improvement projects through the intelligent management of led lighting in tunnels and roads in the north-western sector (lot 3) of the MITMA State Highway Network. Likewise, it has been awarded the technical assistance for the direction of the supply and installation works of Led lighting in the Can Clota, Borrás and Sant Feliu tunnels located in the Rondas de Barcelona and managed by the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB ).

TEKIA has previously worked on similar projects in the Rondas de Barcelona when, in 2022, AMB entrusted TEKIA with the drafting of the lighting renovation project with 100% LED technology and adaptive regulation in the Diagonal Mar, Vía Julia and Pedralbes tunnels. Go to the news
