Representatives from Pacific Group and TEKIA at our headquarters in Madrid and at the Calle 30 and DGT facilities

Madrid, June 2025. On June 26, 2025, representatives of Pacific Group (Pacific Consultancy) visited the headquarters of TEKIA Ingenieros in Madrid to assess the state of development of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in the Spanish market and to explore a potential strategic collaboration in India.

India is currently undertaking an ambitious program to transform its national highway network and enhance road safety. The Bharatmala Programme, launched in 2017 and now entering its second phase, serves as the backbone for the country’s new mobility paradigm.

Within this context, on June 26, 2025, representatives from Pacific Group (Pacific Consultancy) visited the TEKIA Ingenieros headquarters in Madrid to assess the current state of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) development in the Spanish market and to explore potential strategic collaboration opportunities in India.

During the visit, the Indian delegation gained firsthand insight into TEKIA’s extensive national and international experience, as well as its high degree of technical specialization. Both parties recognized the strong alignment and complementary capabilities of their organizations. TEKIA accompanied the Indian delegation on two technical visits to some of the most emblematic ITS installations: Madrid Calle 30, which features the most advanced and complex urban tunnels in Europe, and the Traffic Control Center of the Dirección General de Tráfico in Madrid—the technological nerve center for road mobility management in Spain.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Juan Manuel García and Jaime Antona of EMESA/Calle 30 and to José Luis Chica of the DGT for their excellent technical briefings, which underscore the excellence of Spanish companies in the field of ITS solutions.
