onlilne meeting with Rosa Alarcón

Madrid, march 2021. Executive Forum España has organized this meeting with Rosa  Alarcón, President of Transports Metropolitans of Barcelona and Councilor for mobility of the Barcelona City Council.

Throughout the morning, we have accompanied Rosa Alarcón in the colloquium organized by Executive Forum. Alarcón is President of Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona and Councilor for Mobility of Barcelona City Council. During the colloquium, the Councilor highlighted the need to achieve more sustainable, safe, healthy, equitable and efficient urban mobility. The Councilor for Mobility points out that the new mobility must face the health, environmental and economic crisis, as well as that Barcelona is committed to continuing to be an economic and sustainable engine, putting the citizen at the center and supporting mobility at the metropolitan level. In addition, he has explained some council projects that are underway and has presented others such as the "Ciudad 30" Plan, which will mean the improvement of pedestrian spaces, the Active Mobility Infrastructure Plan, the management of the conditions of use of private transport motorized or the organization of the urban distribution of goods.

Accompanying the councilor were José Antonio Francés, Director of Business Development at Tekia, Josep Aracil, Director of Government and Public Services at Inetum and Jesús Lacosta, Regional Sales Manager Iberia at Genetec. Francés has pointed out the importance of the public administrations to assume the execution of the projects approved with European funds and has reiterated the commitment of TEKIA to continue the collaboration with the council in relation to technologies of sale and control of public transport. For its part, Aracil has highlighted the important strategic commitment that Inentum maintains with the mobility and infrastructure sector and Lacosta has highlighted that based on his experience, "operating infrastructures autonomously and intelligently allows us a greater return on investment , by extracting additional information from classic sensors that can be used to improve day-to-day operations, as well as strategic planning”.
